Abitare Villa Mater transforms an abandoned site into a new way of living. Designed as a senior housing development, the project combines private living spaces with shared environments, where comfort and the quality of living become central to the experience.
In this context, acoustics plays a fundamental role: ensuring privacy within residential units while creating appropriate acoustic conditions in common areas that support social interaction and well-being.
The quality of living is also measured by what remains unheard.
The project combines the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, where the objective is to improve acoustic performance, with new constructions designed to meet current regulatory requirements.
From controlling building services noise and sound insulation between spaces to the careful definition of construction details, every decision contributes to creating quieter, more comfortable environments tailored to the needs of the people who will live there.
